For the love and hate of television- Joshua Strange

Personally, I don't watch that much tv.  I will on occasion watch a show through netflix or watch a movie with friends.  During the summer I watched maybe 5 movies total, so I have a little catching up to do.  Personally, I don't watch any of the Emmy's or award shows.  I hear a little bit about them and know who some of the good actors are but they are not a priority of mine to follow.  Now that I think about it a little, it's a little crazy to show much more of the Emmys than the Nobel Prize.  But when I visited overseas and discussed tv with Russians, they said they watched all the American movies in English because they were so much better than the Russian remakes or movies.  I think that America has some of the best entertainment in the world and it clearly reaches to people everywhere.  More people in Europe will recognize the name Will Smith than a nobel prize winner.
