I choose to expand on the subject of idiosyncrasy.
First off, I am a livid sports fanatic. I love every single sport except baseball and cricket. My favorite teams are the Baltimore Ravens, Louisville Cardinals, and USA national soccer team. I considered sports one of my idiosyncrasies because they are what i live and breathe. During school, my friends and I talk about what happened over the weekend in the NFL. After school, I go to cross country practice for an hour and a half only to go home and do homework while watching whatever football or basketball game is on that night. Then on the weekends I'll wake up too early in order to go to a 5k race that will be miserable, watch college football on Saturday, then NFL football all Sunday- all for the love of sports. I consider sports a idiosyncrasy because it can be what controls my happiness... or sadness. Just last week, I lost my third straight game in FANTASY football and it ruined my Sunday and Monday. I just deleted the official NFL Fantasy Football App on my iPhone.
Next idiosyncrasy is my Christian ways. I strive- and fail- to live up to the standard of Christ everyday. It is a struggle that I will have for the rest of my life. I want to become a pastor in a church; it is my calling. I attempt to read the bible everyday and live a "Christian" lifestyle. I have a community at my church, Crossroads, where I have meant some of the greatest people I know at Henry Clay Missional Community (if anyone actually reads this and wants to join, just ask!) and genuinely enjoy my time spent at "church".
