This week, write about the person you sit next to in English class. What do they do? What are they like? What color would you characterize them as and why? Where do you see them in five years? What type of animal are they like?
I've known Isabelle Rinker since middle school, and probably elementary school as well. She sat next to me in part of 6th grade in Mrs. Bordman's social studies class and then Mrs. Carter's Advanced Algebra I class, so it's fair to say I know a little about her. If I had to describe her in one word, I'd characterize her as a dancer, even if she isn't dancing right now (Sorry, I can't keep up with your sports.) She's incredibly sweet and gentile, despite being on, as I would think, being on somewhat opposite ends of the social spectrum. I remember going to Freshman Summer Boot Camp and picking her up every morning before because she didn't know many of the others going to it. We've been together quite a bit because of our last names, of course, but I'm glad I've spent so much time with such an vivacious person. If she were a color, she'd be pink. In five years, she'll be starting medical school (I see you as a doctor, I don't know why. Perhaps that was one of your seventh grade aspirations?) If she were an animal, she'd be a hummingbird, lively and full of color.
