When the family is out of the house, which is when the magic happens. My favorite toy to play with the cat, a small red, fuzzy mouse comes to life. How do I know for sure that this mouse moves around during the day without the touch of any human? It is because in the morning, it will be upstairs, in the evening, it will be downstairs. Now, during the day, the mouse will get chased by my two tabby cats that chase it around and around our house. We monitored our house with video cameras during the day one time and saw that the mouse would hide behind couches, tables, counters, the refrigerator, the bed, and other things around the house. Things would only move around slightly thought, not enough for us to be able to notice unless you were specifically looking for it but now we know. Sometimes the cats will obviously get the mouse because there would be little dents and claw marks on the poor mouse. That is a day in the life of my poor mouse, sometimes I will let it stay in my room and I’ll close the door to keep it safe; other days it’s not so lucky!
