Flying Turkeys- Tapan Darji

My Thanksgiving is very different from the stock image. My Thanksgiving only includes my parents and me. We do not cook turkey. My mom usually bakes a chicken in the oven. We eat that for dinner. In the morning my family wakes up and watches the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC. After the parade is over I usually help clean up the house by vacuuming, dusting the selves, cleaning the sofa, dusting my room, and cleaning the dinner table.  Then I go with my dad to his store. I usually help him with things or do homework and watch television. My dad and I watch some of the NFL games coming on T.V.  Then we go home. My parents and I will sit around and talk and watch T.V. and then have dinner after eight. After dinner we will go to Walmart for Black Friday shopping.
I enjoy Thanksgiving. It is a day off from school where I can relax and spend time with my parents. It is a day where I don't have to worry about homework or school and I can play video games and watch NFL games without working on homework.
My most wonderful moment in the holiday is watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and enjoying eating dinner with my parents.
