Do you know your neighbor? -Isabelle Rinker

I sit next to my friend, Emily Salamanca (and also Madye Moore, who is also a friend of mine, but I decided to write about Emily because she wrote her blog post earlier this week about me). As she mentioned, we have known each other for a significant amount of time, and we've had a lot of classes together throughout the years. I've known her to be a kind-hearted and extremely intelligent person. She seems to put a lot of effort into her studies, as many of us in the Academy strive to do, which I admire about her. She is a very culturally diverse person, speaking what I assume to be conversational, if not fluent, French and a bit of Italian, as she's mentioned. I'm not so sure what she's up to nowadays, but in middle school we were both a part of orchestra, track, and the "Alice in Wonderland" drama production. If she were a color, I think she would be blue. She always appears so calm and collected, and she is very easy to talk to. In five years, I see her at an esteemed and reputable college while continuing to work as hard as she does right now. I'm not quite sure what her major would be, as she is taking six AP classes, so I assume she is skilled in many areas. And finally, if Emily were an animal, I think she would be a beaver, because she is always working extremely hard. I am sure that her hardworking personality will definitely pay off in her future endeavors :)
