Personally, I dislike war and would rather us negotiate through treaties and such. However, occasionally situations occur that can not be handled with a piece of paper.
There are many countries that are being taken over by terrorist groups, and no one is going to be able to help if they do not directly go in and intervene. It is ridiculous to think otherwise. Negotiation with terrorist groups is not an option.
That being said, we as a nation must be careful with what affairs we involve ourselves in. We cannot make every injustice in the world just and still focus on improvement to our own country. War should be avoided at all costs, however there is a time when war is necessary.
