1. If you could meet anyone that has ever lived, who would it be and why?
2. Does money and/or fame guarantee happiness? Why or why not?
3. If you could change one thing about Henry Clay High School, what would it be and why?
I have chosen to write about prompt number 2.
Many average people have probably often thought that they would be eternally happy if they never had to worry about having enough money to live their life. I believe that being wealthier is not the key to being happier. Although being a billionaire would sure make life a whole lot easier, it would not keep you from getting worried, angry, or sad. Similarly, being famous seems like it would make life better, but it can not keep you from feeling depressed or frustrated. For example, earlier this year actor Robin Williams, a very well loved actor and comedian, committed suicide after suffering from anxiety and depression for much of his life. This shows you that being famous did not guarantee him happiness. The belief that fame and money create happiness is far from true and while they may be able to make your life better, neither will bring you happiness
