1. What team do you believe will win the super bowl this
year? Explain your reasoning.
2. What makes someone “mean”? Is it a certain trait or
action?
3. Does the Academy live up to the hype? Is four years of
being in Academy classes worth it?
I will answer the first prompt.
I believe that the Baltimore Ravens will win the super bowl
in the 2014-15 season. I think this because they have a 3-1 record up to this
point and their lone lost came because of bad play and a lack of execution by
the offense. Baltimore’s defense has let hardly any touchdowns in and ranks in
the top half of the league as of now. Also, the Raven’s offense is clicking on
all cylinders even without Eugene Monroe, Ray Rice, or Dennis Pitta. We have
picked up 125 or more yards in the last three games with a committee of a
backup, rookie, and a veteran who hasn’t been a true star. Joe Flacco has gone
three straight games without a sack (a record for him) and he just broke the
franchise single game QBR record (Quarterback efficiency rating). If the
playoffs started today, we would be the number five seed in the AFC and two of
the last three super bowl champions were wildcards. So I ask this, why not
them?
