The Future - Meagan Hale

My junior year has been my favorite year of high school thus far. I have made even more friends this year, my grades are better than previous years, and I've felt very well adjusted. I would say this whole school year has been a success. I set the goal of procrastinating less earlier this year and unfortunately did not reach that goal. I'm pretty sure that's going to be my New Year's resolution for my entire life. However, I still plan on reaching it every year nonetheless. This summer will most likely just be finding a job and staying in Lexington. Hopefully I will get to spend a lot of time with my friends and family. I may be taking a trip to the beach but I am not sure yet. Next summer I am planning on traveling to Scotland and Ireland maybe England too as my big graduation trip which I am looking forward to more than this summer. For my senior year, I want to do the best I can academically which coincides with wanting to get accepted to my dream college. I also want to spend as much quality time with the amazing friends I've made at Henry Clay because after we graduate it will be more difficult to stay in touch with one another. I'm both nervous and excited to take my next step in life after graduation and I am determined to do my best to keep contact with my friends after we've all gone our separate ways. But until then I will just keep trying do better in math.
