Plastics-James Jones
The piece of advice that has stuck with me the most is also the most simple. When I was younger and ever complained about how I couldn't do something, saying "I can't do it!!" all the time, my grandfather would always say "can't never could." Those three words stuck with me more than any other advice, because it can apply to any situation. No matter what task there will be a time where you may say that you can't do it. And saying that is admitting defeat, and my grandfather knew that if you were willing to give up you wouldn't be able to do the task. Once I was old enough to really understand what my grandfather was saying I took his words to heart, so whenever I think I really can't do something I make myself figure it out, because you really can't do something if you tell yourself that you can't, but if you make yourself do it, and try as much as you can you'll find a way.
