Right Now- Madye Moore
At this very moment, there is a 5 year-old getting ready to finish his last days of preschool, an 11 year-old getting ready to get promoted to middle school, a 14 year-old inching closer to "graduating" middle school, an 18 year-old gearing up for their last month of high school, a 22 year-old getting ready to receive their undergrad, the list could go on and on. There are always going to be milestones in our lives, whether that's the simple handshake and medallion from your middle school principal or the diploma from your high school, and at that point it's time to close that chapter of your life and begin a brand new one, as exciting and intimidating as that may sound. Sure, we will hold on to the memories from the past chapters, but we won't ever get a chance to go back and relive them, although we may wish we could. And, even though it sounds pretty far away, we are going to be the 18 year-olds gearing up for our last month of high school in about a year, so might as well make the most of what we have left.
