The future- brandon castillo

I think that there is some of everything in my junior year- success, failure, risks, mistakes. I think my academics would be one success this year, I got a 4.0 GPA in the semester for the first time and an ACT score I was pleased with. I think another success would be the ability to develop friendships more and learn more about my close friends. I also think that I successfully enjoyed almost every moment of junior year, of course there will be some bad or boring times in a year but for the most part I think it was one of my favorite school years so far. A mistake I made was using the phrase "so far" at the end of the last sentence as if we had many more years to compare this one to. I think its hard realizing that your "childhood" is about to end. I don't really know about any single failures but there are times that I'm disappointed in myself for not living up to being a good Christian and just being nice to everyone. A risk that I took was dating my best friend's sister but so far its been awesome and I'm so happy I took it. In the summer, I plan on running everyday to help get me in shape for my last season of cross country and track, forever. I want to just enjoy it with my friends as I probably won't see a lot of them ever again. In my senior year, I just want to get all my college stuff done in the first half of the first semester and try to earn some money or get some scholarships for college. I am going to try and enjoy my last year of high school.
