The Future- Madye Moore

So far, junior year hasn't really exceeded my expectations. Sure, it's had its good times, bad times, exciting times, however you want to phrase it, but I wouldn't say that it exceeded my expectations by any means. Over the course of the year, I have definitely had some successes, my ACT score being one of them, along with the fact that I've gotten to be closer with a lot of people this year and I'm beyond grateful for the friendships that have grown. However, I do have to point out that I have still had my failures. Starting out the year, I said I was going to be less of a procrastinator (which hasn't changed in the slightest , I continue to wait until the very last minute to do almost everything), along with many others. So, if I had to say one thing I've learned this year, along with any other year, it's to NOT procrastinate! It doesn't do you any good, and only stresses you out more when you're struggling to do it last minute. As for this summer, my family only has 2 vacations planned so far- one to Myrtle Beach for my brother's national basketball tournament, and one to wherever my parents decide to surprise us with, along with wherever Mason's baseball tournaments end up! Also, I am hoping to visit the last few colleges on my list: OSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss. For my senior year, I hope that I choose a college by the end of my first semester, so that I can just relax and enjoy my last semester of high school! I also hope that I learn my lesson about not procrastinating, even though I know that'll be a hard habit to break!
