Right now, the sun is shining through the window. Right now, it's 80 degrees and there's a clear forecast for today. Right now, there's excitement for tomorrow. Unfortunately, it's not my window the sun is shining through, that 80 degrees is probably in Florida, and to be all honest I'm not all too excited to show back up to school tomorrow.
Right now, I look around the corner, and I have a snack. I walk out of my pantry, and there's a couch, where I can procrastinate all I want to on these blog posts and watch endless Netflix for the next months. Right now, someone else may not even have a place to sleep. I hate saying it this way, because everyone knows that. But what if it was someone you knew. What if it was your friend that didn't have a place to sleep, or a place to eat? Right now, there are places where it's not just one or two friends starving, it's groups of people. Being a lazy American, right now it appears as if I can do nothing about it. But right now, I'm trying to keep perspective, and know how privileged I am to live in the US and go to school in such a nice area.
