Fictional Character, Fictional Life- Isabelle Rinker
If I could be any fictional character, it would most likely be Olivia Benson (as portrayed by Mariska Hargitay) from Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Criminal justice has always interested me, and therefore, this TV show is quite intriguing to me. Even though I currently have no plans of becoming a cop in the future, Olivia Benson is such a powerful female character (not to mention, she's gorgeous). To put it simply, she's badass. Detective Benson stands for a just cause, which is defending the rights of rape victims. She loves her job, and throughout the series, is determined to earn promotions by going above and beyond her expectations. She definitely lives an inspiring life, and represents female empowerment, something I feel quite passionate about. She works tremendously hard to be respected at the same level as her male counterpart, Detective Stabler, and eventually is promoted to Detective 1st Grade.
