Howdy- Olivia McCrary

I am 16 years old and a junior in the Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay High School. I was born in Lexington and I have lived here my whole life.

I don't have many hobbies, mainly because I don't have the time. This year, I am taking 5 AP classes (a decision I am likely to regret because I am obsessive about my grades). Obviously, my academic goals are to maintain a 4.0 GPA and pass my AP tests. I guess I'm used to the stress because I have been in some sort of advanced program in school since 3rd grade.

My interests include music, fashion, photography, and psychology/human behavior. I also really like cats (even though I'm allergic). I enjoy traveling. My favorite cities are Chicago and Washington D.C.  I also really want to go to New York City and London, though I am scared of flying on airplanes.

My dislikes include math or anything related to math, such as chemistry and physics. I also do not like sports. I am extremely unathletic and tend to avoid any sort of exercise, which is really not a good thing. Though, I did have fun doing ballet at Diana Evans School of Dance, which I joined when I was 3. Sadly, I ended up quitting when I was 11 because I ran out of time in my schedule.

I occasionally geek out about history (particularly European history) and also art.

Below is an example of one of my photographs. It's not the best, but I really like how the different elements and textures (leaves, branches, light, etc) blend together nicely.

I like online shopping and I frequently use www.amazon.com to buy things.
