Howdy- Isabelle Rinker

Hi there!! I am Isabelle Rinker, a junior in the Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay High School. I have been a dancer for 13 years, and I am an active parishioner at the Cathedral of Christ the King, as my Catholic faith has always been a large part of my life. I am a New York City native, I was born in Manhattan and I have always been a big city girl!

My goals for this year include passing all of my AP exams, becoming more involved in school activities, and most importantly, growing stronger in my relationship with Christ.

I am a geek about the arts. Dance, music, theater--I love it all! As I've mentioned, I have been a dancer for 13 years-- I've danced at multiple studios and school teams, and competed at a national level. I am currently dancing for Barbara Ann School of Dance. I'm also extremely involved in music. I have sung and played guitar on church retreats, participated in school choirs, and taken piano lessons since I was in 2nd grade. I definitely have a passion for music. In fact, my confirmation saint name is Cecilia, the patron saint of music. I also have a strong appreciation for theater. I have been in several productions such as "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Lion King."

Growing up in an environment in which performing became my passion and the stage became a second home has made me the confident and competitive young woman I am today.

(P.S., My favorite website is http://www.netflix.com/, because I love binge watching shows. My favorites are "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit", "Gossip Girl", and "Breaking Bad")
