Hey guys (and Mr.Logsdon)! My name is Madye Moore (don't ask why it's spelled that way because I have no idea..), I am 16 and obviously a junior in the Academy at Henry Clay. My family consists of my mom, dad, younger sister Merrick and younger brother Mason, who pretty much runs the Moore family. My dad played football for UK and then went on to play in the NFL for the Browns and Patriots, so it's safe to say that our lives revolve around football, from running a youth football league to cheering on the Pats, it pretty much never stops! Personally, I think that football is the most entertaining sport out there, so I guess you could say that the thing that geeks me would be football by a long shot. But aside from football, school is one of my top priorities. My academic goals for this year are: to get all A's and B's as well as pass the AP tests for all of my AP classes. As a writer, my goal is to get out of the 5-paragraph essay format, like you've already talked about!

One of the things that I love is traveling. If I could drop everything in my life right now and go travel the world I would in a heartbeat (but wouldn't everyone?!). Every chance my family gets we travel to places that we have never been before. Our goal at the moment is to travel to all 50 states before I go away to college, and so far we have made it to 39 so we are getting pretty close! My love for traveling definitely started when I was younger since we moved around and traveled a lot with the teams when my dad played, but it has definitely carried on through my siblings! The most meaningful part of my summer was going to New York the first week of summer with just me, my mom, and my sister. It was the most "girl bonding" time we've had in a while, and it was a trip that I know I will never forget, not only because of the places we visited, but because of the time we got to spend together (which may have been too much time.. by the end of the trip we were all very ready to leave!).

If I got to choose any superpower, it would definitely be to control time. I not only need as much time as I can get for schoolwork, but I also need time to spend with my family and friends, because over the past year I've learned that time is something that you can't get back, so you might as well take advantage of it while you have the chance.

Since we have to attach a picture, I chose one from our visit to Boston for the Patriots Hall of Fame last summer, and the other is from our cruise this Spring Break when we stopped in Cozumel, Mexico! As far as a website goes, I don't really go to one particular website every time I get on the internet, so I just chose the link to the announcement of my dads induction into the UK Hall of Fame, which was such an achievement for him and we couldn't be any happier about it! (I thought about this for a really long time and this was all that I could come up with, it's really boring I know, and I apologize for not being able to come up with something more interesting!!)
