So anyone reading thing probably knows the first few most obvious things about me: I'm a 16 year-old junior in the Academy at Henry Clay High School! My favorite punctuation is the exclamation point, but I try not to misuse it. I don't text very often at all due to the fact that I have a flip phone. One of the most important things a person needs to know about me is that I don't like the red sauce that goes on Italian foods like pizza and spaghetti and I really hate chemistry.
I like to take risks, but not in the way one would expect. This year, my biggest risk is taking 6 AP classes. I have no idea whether or not I'll make it out alive, but I'm really really hopeful! My favorite subjects are French, history, and government. I'm no good at math or science, so I'm pretty sad that I have to take them. I love to read wikipedia articles about random linguistics until 3 AM and then fall asleep, knowing I can wake up whenever I please in the morning. I love fruits and vegetables, especially when someone else gives them to me for free. My biggest pet peeve is when writers or speakers misuse the subjunctive mood. And, to any teacher's dismay, I love to draw, so most of my papers are filled with doodles. Sorry about that!
What geeks me out is a hard question. I have a variety of things. Right now, I'd say that I'm pretty geeky about the French language and the history behind it. Over the summer I did an exchange program for 6 weeks with a French girl in France and since then, I've really discovered that I love studying the language. I can recite the Old French verb 'to be' in all pronouns and tenses!
