I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and I plan to dance for the rest of my life, whether it involve a dance career or just taking classes every once a while. Dance helps me to relieve the stress that builds up during the day at school. One of the best parts about dancing is the emotions one feels while performing in front of hundreds sometimes thousands is like no other feeling in the world. I always have goosebumps every time I come off of the stage for a quick change or when the cast takes its final bow.
My religion is also a huge part of my life. I have attended Crossroads Christian Church my entire life and have been very involved. In the 8th grade I started singing in the XSM Worship Team, although I have not been able to participate recently.
The best summer memory was definitely attending the Governor's School for the Arts (GSA). The chance to meet so many people exactly like me, my "tribe" so to speak, was absolutely amazing. I have been to summer programs before, but GSA is like no other. Everybody at GSA was so accepting. The best memories that I will hold with me forever are the nights when after studio time was over everybody gathered in the courtyard and just talked and played different instruments and showcased their talents for all of us who were not in their discipline to see.
